When to say goodbye?

When to say goodbye? When to let go of everything? When to move towards the end?

All these questions are all but one and the same, don’t we all deserve that “happy ever after” fairytale ending?

Yes we all do, but life is not all rainbows and unicorns, you have to work hard to earn that happy ending. On a separate note, happy ending doesn’t mean falling in love and getting married. To each his own ambitions in life and his or hers own happy ending.

Throughout this post I’ll only be speaking by metaphors, because for each person the same picture can mean an entire different story.  So let your imagination roam free, and paint the image in your head and live the moment.

SO when is it time to say goodbye?

I don’t think there is a right time to say it, you know you've  reached a crossroad but the strong love is pulling you back. On the desert road, the lonely merchant hears a soft whim: stay says the desert, let me enrobe you with my sandy dress and we can be together forever. You can come whenever you want but you can never leave.

There is no longer a “U” in us?

You’ll always be in my heart, but sadly life goes on. You’re the river that’s flows within me, but the once flowing summer river is slowly drying up, even the eternal river of love can have a drought, and tears can no longer sustain the thirst of the dwelling beast within.

A warrior knows when to surrender and when to fight with vim; alone standing behind the castle walls, he awaits anxiously for the countdown of the last fight of his life.  The once vehement spirit is reduced to a mere childish state. He steps blindly but faithfully into the unknown.

You might wish for a time machine and think in your mind: if only I can repair that single mistake or bad choice.  Nevertheless, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and you will get through it: like the phoenix who raises from its ashes more powerful and flamboyant.  You would have learned a life’s lesson for the next chapter in your life.
ᴤ End of part 1 ᴤ

Part 2 is for you to write, does it end or no? I will continue the story in next week’s post.
