Every fairy tale seemed to end with a happy ending, or at least that’s how I grew up watching movies and reading stories.

The phrase: “and they lived happily ever after” lingered in our minds and all girls dreamed of their prince charming riding on a white steed and all boys imagined themselves slaying dragons and rescuing the fair maiden.

However, as I mentioned earlier these are mere childish stories… or are they?

When saying farewell and letting go becomes inevitable, your story reaches an imminent end. Maybe it ended too fast or maybe the next big chapter is just unfolding.

In no way am I telling anybody to lose hope, keep dreaming of your happy ending but for me a happy ending doesn’t have to involve someone.

I’m sure some people like me do feel that their happy ever after could be with a prestigious career, retiring to a foreign country… it may or it may not involve a lover.

We all had our shares of love: bitter and sweet love, I never gave hope and will never give up hope of finding that special someone. Meanwhile, you can make mistakes, have fun, try to work on every relation as if he or she is the one and hope for the best.

The saddest part is when you do find your soul mate and it works out perfectly. Then a storm passes and you can’t seem to move pass it. The love you loved seems to start fading away slowly but surely. You stop caring so you wouldn’t get hurt and you always have to be one step ahead of the game.

I gave up hope on mankind a long time ago, but never gave up hope on my humanity. Talk is cheap; they can easily lure you into a state of euphoria and bliss. You start creating that picture perfect world, and then out of the blue it all shatters into tiny pieces.

Like a rug being pulled under your feet, you loose balance. Why? Every single fight or argument should push you towards fixing the problems in your relationship. However, an adverse effect can take place, it starts pulling you apart slowly.

You wake up all of a sudden looking into a stranger, where did my love go? Who is this person next to me?
